DISH cuts deal with Raycom, threatens hard line with Disney

Fifty-three Raycom Media stations in 36 markets returned to DISH Network's lineup this weekend after the parties agreed to new retransmission-consent terms. The deal ended an eight-day blackout of the stations for DISH subscribers. Separately, DISH founder Charlie Ergen threatened to "part ways" with ABC and other Disney-owned channels if the satcaster can't get a favorable deal for its retransmission-consent agreement, which is set to run out on Sept. 30.
