Low growth numbers hit Japanese shares; other Asian markets advance

Unexpectedly poor growth numbers pulled down Japanese shares Monday, but other Asian markets were generally higher, lifted by gains for Chinese property developers and resources companies. The Nikkei fell 0.70% to 13,519.43, the Hang Seng surged 2.13% to 22,271.28, the Kospi rose 0.22% to 1,884.83 and the S&P/ASX climbed 1.06% to 5,108.70.
