Minn. district to slowly introduce new technology

In St. Paul, Minn., officials say they are taking small steps toward a plan to integrate more technology into teaching and learning. Using an infusion of $9 million annually approved by taxpayers, the district will purchase more digital devices, upgrade Internet service to schools and make other changes. However, with educators and administrators uncertain about the long-term vision of the technology upgrades, some say they are happy the plan is being phased in gradually.
