OTT services offer alternative to multichannel subscriptions

Research indicates that subscriptions to multichannel video services have leveled off at around 86% of all households, with more than 40% of nonsubscribers choosing one of three over-the-top video platforms instead. Forty percent of OTT viewers get their content via Netflix, with Amazon Prime and Hulu Plus rating a distant second and third place.
