Owner of exotic animals attacked by bear

Illinois exotic farm owner Marion Julius was mauled by his own black bear after he entered the animal's pen on his property, called Julius Acres. Julius operates the site under an exhibitor license and houses 17 bison, two llamas, eight goats, a yak, a water buffalo and an alpaca there in addition to the bear that broke his hip and leg and inflicted several bites on his arm. He obtained his license in 2012 and had passed several federal inspections.
