Spanish firm builds skyscraper, forgets to include elevator

A new 47-floor skyscraper in the Spanish resort town of Benidorm is nearing completion -- and its designers are kicking themselves after realizing that they failed to include a working elevator. The building was originally planned as a 20-story highrise, and architects apparently forgot to upgrade the elevator shaft and machinery spaces after deciding to more than double the building's height.
