Study: Japanese, Korean customers drive 67% revenue increase for Google Play

Google Play, the online store for Android applications, has witnessed a 67% increase in revenue over the past six months, largely driven by demand from Japan and South Korea, according to Distimo, an app-store analytics firm. In contrast, the App Store has seen its revenue rise 15% in that period, the market research firm estimates.
