TiVo gets OK from FCC to offer digital-only devices

TiVo has received a waiver from the Federal Communications Commission from its analog-tuner mandate and now will be able to market digital-only set-top devices. However, the FCC stipulated in its order that TiVo must inform users that the device will be incapable of receiving analog broadcast or cable channels, and possibly no broadcast channels at all.
