Utah offers liquor-license workaround for restaurants with 5 or more locations

The Utah Legislature's new master liquor license offers restaurant chains with five or more locations a way to sell liquor without requiring each location to have its own license. No chains have applied for the master license, which became available in May, but applications are expected the next time there is a shortage of licenses.
