Young job seekers lack critical soft skills, employers say

While 80% of those ages 18 to 34 say they have the necessary skills, education and experience to get a job, 40% of employers report most entry-level candidates don't have the necessary skills to be hired, an analysis by Bryant & Stratton College and Wakefield Research finds. Some 93% of employers say "soft skills" such as critical thinking are key for new hires, while only 16% of the young job seekers thought such skills were needed for career advancement.
