Daily U.S. shale oil output to rise by 89,000 barrels in Sept., report finds

U.S. shale oil production is expected to increase by about 89,000 barrels per day in September, according to an Energy Information Administration report released Monday. Output from the Bakken Shale will reach 1.14 million barrels per day, up by 20,000 barrels per day, while production in the Eagle Ford Shale will hit 1.51 million barrels per day, up 31,000 barrels per day, the report said.
