Sutter Health finds e-ICU improves patient outcomes

Sutter Health has used e-ICU technology for 10 years and ICU manager Deborah Mensch, of Sutter Auburn Faith Hospital, said having the additional monitoring has improved outcomes for patients on ventilators and those with sepsis. Sutter has 49 intensivists and 57 critical care nurses on its eICU team, and they handle about 80 service calls daily plus 150 calls from ICU staff throughout the hospital system.
