U.S. to support studies of microbiome and immune response to HIV

Grants from the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases will be awarded to support research about how the microbiome affects immune responses to HIV and vaccines against the virus. Up to $275,000 will be provided for two-year exploratory and developmental projects, and further funding will be available for research projects.
