Study shows health benefits of wine compared to other alcohols

A new study in the journal Atherosclerosis suggests red wine benefits the heart more than other alcohol. While other research has indicated beer and other spirits also have heart benefits, the researchers noted certain compounds only present in red wine might have benefits, but also said the evidence is indirect and further research is needed.
