FDA OKs three-in-one AIDS drug for children

The FDA has approved a pediatric AIDS drug to be used in the global AIDS relief program launched by President George W. Bush in 2003. The generic pill, developed by India-based Cipla Ltd. and available for children younger than 12, consists of the HIV drugs lamivudine, stavudine and nevirapine.
