AP: Government-owned underground fuel tanks could be leaking into water supply

The Associated Press reports that at least 150 government-owned underground fuel tanks could be leaking hazardous substances and contaminating water supplies around the country. Many of the tanks were designed for emergencies during the Cold War, and FEMA has known since at least the 1990s about the potential leaks into soil and groundwater.
