Financial industry woes spread to office-rental market

Volatility in the stock market is starting to hit office rentals in and around New York City. In the second quarter, AQR Capital Management and other financial firms put thousands of square feet of office space back on the market. The most sought-after locations, however, are still attractive, and landlords are calling the shots. Meanwhile, commercial real estate is holding its own in the region.
