IEA adjusts crude projection, says supply-demand balance eases

The IEA adjusted its projection of average crude price for this year to $124 a barrel, down from the $133 it had projected in July. In its August report, the IEA also stated that the global supply-and-demand balance has pushed oil prices roughly 20% lower than their record high of more than $147, hit in early July.
