Arkansas leaders praise general aviation's contributions to state

Public leaders extolled the value of general aviation to Arkansas at a public forum on Wednesday. Gov. Mike Beebe and other leaders said that in generating $1.1 billion a year, aviation is the state's leading export, the industry employs as many as 3,500 workers, and about 800 businesses supply aviation.
