Nurse your social-media green thumb

Building on an earlier post by David Armano comparing social media to gardening, Teresa Basich and Beth Harte argue that there's more to maintaining a healthy network than just getting the plants in the ground. Companies need to think about the provider side of building a social presence as well, by offering their social employees continuing education, regular downtime and even automated shortcuts in certain situations.
