Passengers to see little change from gradual phase-in of Secure Flight

The TSA is providing assurances that passengers will not be penalized for failing to provide their full name, gender and date of birth under the agency's Secure Flight program. "We have been assured that no passenger will be turned away or be denied the ability to travel" due to incomplete information, says a spokesman for the Air Transport Association. Airlines will phase in the new information requirements gradually, with some collecting the additional data beginning this Saturday.
