Study IDs characteristics of subclinical hypothyroidism in children

A large number of children and adolescents with subclinical hypothyroidism are overweight or obese and have thyroid hypoechogenicity under ultrasound and missense mutations in the thyroid-stimulating hormone receptor gene, according to a study of 88 hypothyroid patients ages 1 to 18.
