If you disagree with your boss on a decision, first collect as much information as you can about how and why the decision was made so that you can present an alternate plan -- and don't just blow up and lose your temper, writes Bill Rosenthal, CEO of Communispond. "Identify what's good about the boss's plan. Try to retain those parts, not only because they're right but also to give the boss some ownership of your version," he writes.
