Android app lets the voice, not the fingers, do the work

Google has unveiled Voice Actions, an application for its Android platform that lightens the load on users' fingers and will compete with Apple's Siri app. Voice Actions enables smartphone users to call, e-mail or text those on their contact list and perform a number of other operations, including Web browsing, by using voice commands.
