GT Beverage launches sports drink for diabetics, children

GT Beverage Co. has created a sports drink it says is a good fit for schoolchildren and diabetics alike. Sportastic Sports Drink contains 4 grams of sugar, 4 carbohydrates and 15 calories, as well as vitamins B5, B6, and B12, calcium, magnesium, potassium and niacin. The drink has been approved by scientists at the Junior Diabetes Research Foundation.
