Pharmacy chains take different tacks for online chat strategy

Walgreens and Rite-Aid launched services this month that allow customers to chat online with their pharmacists, with each retailer taking a different approach. At Walgreens, online pharmacists have access to medical records on the chain's customers, while Rite-Aid's chats are limited to recommendations based only on the information customers opt to share during the conversation.
