EPA issues final rule on CBI's role in emissions reporting

The Environmental Protection Agency on Monday released its final rule requiring certain industries to report confidential business information on greenhouse gas emissions. Industries will not have to disclose information about "composition of materials used in production, supplier and vendor information, and process-specific vendor data," according to Bloomberg BNA. The agency will begin enforcing the rule Sept. 12.
