Progresso QR codes clue mobile users to a variety of recipes

Mobile users can access a line of recipes from General Mills' Progresso brand by scanning QR codes on the packaging, giving them a chance to buy necessary ingredients while they're at the store. When scanned, the codes take users to a website that automatically scales to the screen size of the device. "Consumers could certainly go to our website and find the recipes -- but we wanted to make it easier than that," said Audra Carson, associate marketing manager of meal solutions at Progresso.
