ACC supports Sen. McConnell in advancing policies for U.S. manufacturers

The American Chemistry Council is supporting the re-election campaign of Sen. Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., with ads to showcase his "work to promote economic growth and policies that are important to American manufacturers." The group has spent $400,000 on commercials praising McConnell's attention to new energy and small businesses, this article says. ACC is also funding ads for Sen. Kay Hagan, D-N.C.; Sen. Tom Udall, D-N.M.; Rep. Fred Upton, R-Mich.; and Rep. Mike Simpson, R-Idaho.
