Funding allows N.Y. district to bring back music programs

Buffalo, N.Y., will direct $400,000 in funds to the city's school system to help restore cuts to the district's music programs. The Say Yes to Education program will supervise the funding and oversee a plan to help the district maintain the music programs in the future. While music programming will resume in most schools, officials said not all teaching positions will return.
