Groupon buys mobile restaurant finder Plumfare

Plumfare, a mobile discovery application that encourages users to share photos of their restaurant meals, has been purchased by Groupon. Terms of the deal weren't disclosed, and Groupon has had little to say. Commented Forrester analyst Sucharita Mulpuru-Kodali, Plumfare "has some functionality that seems to overlap with what would be on [Groupon's] product road map anyway, so it probably makes sense for them."
