KCS: New $25M facility in Ill. to strengthen grain company's supply chain to Mexico

Kansas City Southern's improvements along a rail line near Bartlett Grain's new $25 million facility in South Jacksonville, Ill., will improve Bartlett's supply chain to Mexico, according to KCS. The Class I's track improvements will help handle the additional traffic generated by the grain terminal's operations. Meanwhile, KCS named Kelly Smith assistant vice president of damage prevention and freight claims.
