Pepsi and Degree Women have signed on to use Twitter Amplify to promote their sponsorship of the 2013 Video Music Awards. The service allows brands to capitalize on social conversations around television events with real-time tweets featuring video clips from broadcasters. Viacom has also partnered with Twitter for the sponsorships, and MTV plans to produce custom Twitter content for sponsors related to the awards show.
