PPG seeks to increase sales of sustainable products

PPG Industries is looking to increase its sales of sustainable products as it sees growth from the expanding market for sustainable building materials. The trend "is good for PPG because it's not only generating sales for the products we have today, it is pushing us to be innovative and look to develop the type of products we are going to need in the future," said Glenn Miner, PPG's director of construction. The company hopes that by 2020, 30% of its sales will come from sustainable products, up from 20.2% last year.
