Reduced fluorescein leakage seen with bevacizumab therapy for diabetic neuropathy

Undergoing intravitreal bevacizumab treatment helped improve visual acuity and reduce fluorescein leakage associated with persistent neovascularization in diabetic retinopathy patients who were unresponsive to panretinal photocoagulation, a small study indicated. The results appear in the journal Retina.
