Rx meds are easily accessible to adolescents, study finds

A study from the University of Michigan found that three in four 14-year-olds treated with prescription drugs, including sedatives, stimulants and anti-anxiety and pain medications, are able to access the drugs with no supervision. The drugs are important treatment tools, but parents should block easy access to them because they have the potential to be abused, lead researcher Carol Boyd said.
