S. Korean luxury sales hit a speed bump

Luxury retail sales growth in South Korea has slowed in recent months, but industry watchers say it's likely a temporary lull in Asia's third-largest market, which relies heavily on tourism from China and Japan. "The Korean luxury market benefits from the rise of Chinese tourists who choose to purchase in Korea for fear of fake or counterfeits back home," said Sarah Chung, co-founding partner of Luxe Brand Advisors.
