Yellen calls for tighter bank regulations after crisis

Janet Yellen, considered a top contender for Federal Reserve chairman, says the housing crisis made her more committed to tightening bank regulations. She has been critical of various regulators having too much discretion so they're slow to react to a crisis, and she wants tougher capital rules for banks so reserves are built up to deal with tough times.
