Ill. district's teachers seek to restart in-class breakfasts

An Illinois school district in June discontinued an in-class breakfast pilot program because of concerns that the meals were cutting into instructional time. The Elgin Teachers Association want to meet with school board members to discuss restarting the program, which they said had the commitment of teachers to continue for another year before it was canceled by the district.
