Researchers prepare sensor network to record storm data

Researchers are laying the foundation for a sensor network that will allow them to record data such as wind and water levels as storms approach the East Coast. The project, which is funded through a federal grant in the Superstorm Sandy relief package, is being done while the weather is calm so researchers can rapidly deploy sensors when a storm is on the way.
