USDA data show rise in biotech crop adoption in U.S.

The Department of Agriculture released new data showing the growth in biotech crop adoption in the U.S. Data revealed that biotech crops now account for over 93% of all corn, soybean and cotton planted in the U.S., while up to 70% of processed foods sold in the country contain biotech ingredients.
