Report: Extended-stay hotel demand on the rise

Demand for extended-stay hotels increased in the second quarter of 2007 by 4.3%, while supply rose 3.7% in the last year, according to the "U.S. Extended Stay Lodging Report: Mid-Year 2007." Revpar for extended stay properties increased 5.1% in the second quarter of 2007, compared to the same quarter in 2006.
