School board looks for ways to fund teacher bonuses

A Florida district is $100,000 to $150,000 short of being able to cover the merit pay promised to eligible teachers. Because some of the teachers who stand to be affected teach at public charter schools, one school board member floated the idea of having charter schools pitch in to make sure all teachers are paid.
