Study: Children's early eating habits can affect cholesterol

Children who are taught from an early age to avoid saturated fat and instead eat healthy fats such as fish and nuts will have lower cholesterol levels than those who are not, researchers found. As part of the study, children in the diet-counseling group were given skim milk, starting at age 1.
