Boston Properties closes on two more Macklowe buildings

Boston Properties and two joint-venture partners have closed on a pair of Manhattan office towers sold by Macklowe Properties for about $705 million. The deal to buy the 39-story 540 Madison Ave. and 44-story Two Grand Central Tower was part of a four-property portfolio struggling Macklowe sold earlier this year. The $3.95 billion package included the GM Building in Manhattan, which closed in June.
