FDA clears ConMed's suture anchor for hip-joint repair

ConMed Linvatec's Bio Mini-Revo suture anchor has received 510(k) clearance from the FDA for use in fixing the labrum, a type of cartilage found on the hip joint. The bioabsorbable device eliminates the need for another surgery for implant removal.
