U.S. airlines may soon allow cell phone use during flights

Cell phone use on airlines is already getting approval from the European Union, and it may not be long before passengers will also be able to dial up during flights. With new technology resolving safety concerns, the FCC has dropped its opposition to cell phone use on planes, and some airlines are considering allowing it, if only to gauge public reaction.
