Morgan Stanley fares better than Goldman in TARP exit

Morgan Stanley was able to exit the Troubled Asset Relief Program for $150 million less than rival Goldman Sachs, even though both banks received the same $10 billion deal from the government's rescue program last fall. "Our process to value the warrants has worked well to protect the taxpayers," said a Treasury Department spokesman.
