Republic to take over Frontier for nearly $108.8 million

On Thursday, Republic Airways' offer for Frontier Airlines was selected by a bankruptcy court judge, in a major deal that would keep Frontier operating out of Denver. Southwest Airlines' $170 million bid was rejected on the basis of details regarding pilot integration, according to reports.
