Senate should focus on renewable-energy bill, senators say

Four Democratic lawmakers say the Senate should concentrate on legislation aimed at requiring renewable-energy use instead of a broad measure for curbing carbon emissions. Sen. Blanche Lincoln, D-Ark., said it will be difficult to pass both of the measures this year. However, President Barack Obama continues to push the Senate to pass cap-and-trade emissions legislation.
